This A20™ 5th wheel hitch head comes with the CURT S20™ slider to be mounted in a short-bed truck using 5th wheel base rails and a bracket kit (base rails and brackets sold separately). CURT 5th wheel sliders are built with a solid design to eliminate chucking in the towing position and promote smooth rolling from forward to rearward positions, with no binding. With the slider installed, you can safely move the coupling point 12" toward the rear, allowing your short-bed truck to make turns without obstruction. The slider is comfortable and easy to operate, featuring a lift-style lever that is easily accessible over the side of the truck wall. The lever moves in a more user-friendly, ergonomic motion compared to traditional, pull-out-style levers.
