When you need to attach a rope, strap, or chain to your truck, it's important to locate the strongest point on the vehicle. The Extreme Duty 2.5" BulletProof Receiver Shackle is designed to address this issue by utilizing a solid steel shank with a 1-1/4" shackle, which allows you to connect a rope, strap, or chain to your vehicle.

This shackle has four pin holes that enable the user to set the shackle in the desired direction. Its design allows it to be used horizontally or vertically, as well as in extended or recessed positions. For vehicles with factory bumpers, this allows more of the shank to fit in the receiver opening. For vehicles with aftermarket bumpers, the extra pinhole at the end of the shank provides an additional 1-1/2" of extension, allowing the shackle to protrude from the receiver and function properly with your bumper.

It's worth noting that the weight capacity of this shackle remains constant, regardless of the pin hole's position or orientation.

The Receiver Shackle has the same textured black powder coat finish as our hitches. This accessory includes a hardened pin and R-clip as standard, but we strongly advise purchasing a Locking Pin to keep it safe and secure.
