The Recon Gooseneck-Ball-Mounted Fifth Wheel Hitch is a light weight, geometric design that fits ANY 2-5/16" gooseneck ball. The hitch can be easily separated into two pieces making installation and removal quick and easy. The Recon utilizes a standard 5th wheel head design. No adapter plate, or pin box modifications are needed. Made in the USA! There are a variety of adapters on the market that let you tow a fifth-wheel trailer with a gooseneck hitch. You can use a coupler adapter that replaces the pin box on your fifth-wheel trailer and then attaches to the gooseneck hitch in your truck bed. But these adapters often require modifications to your trailer that can void the warranty.
